Cartoons with unique way of speaking
Some of the cartoons were really distinguished by the way they talk like donald duck , Sylvester , Popeye and the smurfs with their smurf language :). For Popeye (the middle-aged independent sailor) his unique way of speaking comes from the fact that he has the cigar all the time ! ( what’s in his pipe really ? ;P never seen him with out it ) . In the smurf language , smurfs always use the word ” Smurf” . What are you smurfing about ? “means what are you talking , or doing ; so the verb “to smurf “is “to do” or “to like” actually it depends on how they use it in their sentences . Road runner .. well he only says “beep beep” guess it’s a nother way to tease the wolf ( what’s his name ? was it a wolf ? ) .. Anyways Tweety has many different distinguished phrases and i guess he misses some letters while speaking like “Th ” in “thought “he always pronounces it as ” tout ” . Slvester seems to spray his words ! ok the most unique voice is donald duck’s voice ( don’t try it you will have a sever pain in your mouth )

Remember the snorks ?
The snorks were aired in 1984 and produced by hanna-barbera ( tom & Jerry producers). In the middle east they were also aired in arabic and named ” Al shanakel”These creatures are friendly living under the sea in their “Snorkland”. The best thing about them is how colorful they are and the way they swim . I still can’t figure out how they managed to breath under water :)
I see resemblance between the smurfs and the snorks as :
1- Both live as a group.
2- In smurfs each smurf is different and has his own abilities , the same applies for snorks.
3- Smurfs have their village and snorks have their snork land.

Cartoon characters never age
Something really nice about cartoons is that the characters never age and we somehow don’t notice it . As if they are stuck in time or something like that ..
But lets assume they do .. can you imagine what would happen?
First of all the smurfs (1958) are all 51 ( they sing all the time no wonder they don’t age ) . Tom and Jerry ( 1940) and Tweety (1940) are in their 60s. Others like donald duck ( born June 9, 1934) is now over 70 years ( ohh uncle donald is getting too old 
) .Micky mouse is even older than donald; his first appearance was in Plane Crazy in 1928 , so he is 81 years old !
The sailor man Popeye is 80 , first appeared in 1929 on Thimble Theatre comic strip.
Some interesting facts :
Tweety was “PINK ” in his first appearance in” A Tale of Two Kitties ”
Smurfs started in comics magazines in 1958 , later in the 80s they were made in to television series. -

Is Tweety a boy or a girl?
Tweety is A Boy !! it’s a male canary.
So is it the eye lashes ? or the name that sounds very cute to be a male ?
Some might say because it’s ” cleaver” it had to be a female
It has always been a female in my mind .. can’t imagine tweety is a boy !

"Sha3biyet Al Cartoon" website is coming soon !!
Well finally there will be an official website for ” sha3biyet alcartoon” sha3bia.com . Currently it’s under construction and they are welcoming your suggestions . It’s kinda surprising that after 4 years they have just started making an official website . Unlike “freej” who has even given the license to produce toys and stationary items for their cartoon characters since season 1 .

Animated cartoon series for Ramadan 2009
This ramadan we will not be seeing our beloved Freej animated cartoon series , however be ready for Sha’abeyat Al Cartoon (sha3biyet alcartoon) 4 ! yes once again we will be seeing Shanbay ( my favorite character ) on Sama Dubai right after fotoor . In fact Haydar Mohammed (sha3biyet alcartoon director ) made a five year contract with sama dubai to produce five more series ahead !
In addition to that, competition is coming from new cartoons like “7osa bo9a” and ” Hamdon” . Would sha3biyet alcartoon be able to stand against these new cartoons?. At times when we thought that freej dominated the animated cartoons sha3biat al cartoon proved us wrong in their third season . To make a comedian cartoon character is not that easy . lets wait and see ..
Finally i have to say that we are very proud of Haydar Mohammed & Mohammed Saeed Harib to lead the arabic animated cartoons industry in GCC.
