    Remember the snorks ?

SnorksThe snorks were aired in 1984 and produced by hanna-barbera  ( tom & Jerry producers).  In the middle east they were also aired in arabic and named ” Al shanakel”

These creatures are friendly living under the sea in their “Snorkland”.  The best thing about them is how colorful they are and the way they swim .  I still can’t figure out how they managed to breath under water  :)

I see resemblance between the smurfs and the snorks as :

1- Both live as a group.

2- In smurfs each smurf is  different and has his own abilities , the same applies for snorks.

3- Smurfs have their village and snorks have their snork land.

    The theme song Lyrics :

    Come along with Snorks.
    Swim along with Snorks.
So much to see waiting for you and me.
Have some fun with the Snorks.
    Play along with the Snorks.
    Swim along with the Snorks.
Happy we’ll be living under the sea.
    Come along with the Snorks

If you could breathe underwater where would you go.
If you had friends underwater who would you know.
Come along, Sing along, Swim along too.

    Come along with the Snorks.
    Swim along with the Snorks.
So much to see waiting for you and me
    Swim along with the…
    Have some fun with the…
    Come along with the Snorks

watch the video and remember the old good days :)

Tom & Jerry classic cartoon inspired from World War II !!

In 1940, the first Tom and Jerry cartoon, “Puss Gets the Boot”, was released. In this film Tom is called Jasper and Jerry doesn’t have a name. While Tom and Jerry developed quite rapidly, changing even the way they look, Mammy Two Shoes kept the same accent and drawl and, for most of the time, the same clothes: slippers, flower-printed bathrobe and stockings with reinforced or darned heels. The face of Mammy Two Shoes was deliberately hidden.

In 1943, Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera earned the first of seven Academy Awards® for their classic World War II inspired Tom & Jerry cartoon ‘The Yankee Doodle Mouse’.
“The Yankee Doodle Mouse” is a hand-painted cel accompanied by a fine art lithographic background recreating the original film scene. Each cel is hand-signed by Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera.
Tom & Jerry cartoon classic cartoon inspired from World War II ? yes as Jerry is Germany (Orange) and Tom is England (Blue).
